Beginning on Jan. 6, Diana Prieto, director of the Office of Equal Opportunity, will take on an expanded scope of responsibility to include both the Office of Equal Opportunity and Human Resources in a reorganization aimed at enhancing services and streamlining processes.
Prieto has been named the executive director for Human Resources and Equal Opportunity, chief Human Resource officer, with the departure of Tony DeCrosta, executive director for Human Resources since 2011.
“In her last four years at CSU, Diana has provided exemplary leadership, established positive partnerships across campus, and worked to find creative solutions to many challenges. With both OEO and HR reporting to Diana, we believe there is great opportunity for collaboration and process improvements between these areas and for the delivery of enhanced, more efficient service to campus,” said Amy Parsons, vice president for University Operations.
“We will also take this opportunity to explore how Human Resources and Equal Opportunity might best partner with other units and individuals who have HR responsibility and work toward a model of service, collaboration, and excellence.”
DeCrosta has accepted a position with the CU Health Trust beginning in early January.
"Several important and necessary initiatives were started under Tony’s leadership during the last two years," Prieto said. "I look forward to working with the Human Resources team to continue to move these initiatives forward as well as identifying efficiencies between both offices to continue to be a timely and positive resource to campus. I am excited about the opportunities that lie ahead."
